Tailgate Campers has a requirement for an Assembler/Production Worker to work in their team manufacturing slide-on campers.

Though it is preferred that you have worked in the Camper/Caravan Manufacturing or Vehicle/Repair Industries and be experienced in the list below, applicants with excellent hand tool and quality production skills are encouraged to apply.

  • Carpeting.
  • Automotive parts equipment installation.
  • RV plumbing.
  • 12-volt electrical wiring installation.

The appointed applicants will preferably have the following experience and skills:

  • Competent with hand, power and air tools.
  • Self-pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.

  • Assist in other areas of the production line where necessary.

Production Supervisor

Camper / Caravan Industry  

Goorambat -  North East Victoria

Tailgate Campers has a requirement for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead the production team in the manufacturing of high quality, top-of-the-range slide-on campers.

To be considered for this senior position, the appointed person will preferably have the following skills and experience:

  • Be Trade qualified or have ‘many years' current experience’ in manufacturing, preferably working in Aluminium.
  • Staff supervision or team leader experience.
  • Knowledge of business systems, employee relations, and manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent quality control is part of your current and past work history and you will be able to demonstrate how you are able to limit re-work.
  • Production planning has also been an aspect of your past positions and you can show your expertise in this skill.
  • Ordering of stock “just in time” is also a skill that you are proud of. 
  • Experience working in assembly or fabrication.

You will be a hands-on, people manager who will be expected to work one-on-one with your staff and will be reporting directly to the owners of the business. The production expectations on you will include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and supervising and being responsible for all production activities.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring Quality Control standards apply to products and work processes.
  • Applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Attaining or exceeding production time-frames.

Connex Group has relocated to their brand-new office complex in central Wangaratta, North East Victoria so the appointed person will be joining the team as they take their next step in growing this dynamic business.

The company has a range of services that they offer their clients, from structural engineering certification to the full suite of steel and concrete drafting.

This new position will give the appointed person their start in a drafting career to learn all the requirements of a drafts person in the building and construction industry.         

The company is looking for a person who:

Has a solid understanding of computers and proficiency in mainstream Microsoft programs.

Our hand-crafted artisan cheeses are world renowned, so we are looking for person who is passionate about delivering the ultimate retail experience to our clientele who visit and buy from our factory retail outlet.

The position available is for a permanent full-time senior retail person.

Your love of cheese is a given, as is your understanding of the many ways that you can use different cheeses to enrich any meal or just indulge in a delicious platter of handmade artisan cheese.

Working in the retail team, you will bring your passion for excellent customer service to heighten the experience of our clientele, many of whom return regularly as well as those who come to indulge and learn to adore our product range.
